Karol House qualified as a physiotherapist in 1992 and as a Pilates teacher in 2002. She aims to educate her pupils about their bodies and how to use them to make them last. Karol has also studied under the Pilates Foundation and Pilates Training solutions to achieve a Level 3 C,Y,Q. She has completed many extra courses in spinal and sports rehabilitation. After many years working in the N.H.S. and private sector, Karol ran a rehab clinic and Pilates matwork studio at The Queens Club in Barons court.
Antonia has worked part time at Haslemere Pilates since 2016 and covers a range of activities from coordinating the accounts, assisting with client communication and general administration. Pilates to Antonia is a vital part in helping her keep physically and mentally in shape. She regards it as a “special treat” and she feels two inches taller after every class! Antonia is married with two children and lives in Haslemere. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with friends, walking her dog, sewing and floristry.
In 2003 I was certified as a teacher in Mat work pilates with Body Control Pilates in London. Since then I have continued my development with short course and workshops, enhancing my knowledge and skills. Most recently having completed certification on the reformer equipment. I enjoy teaching mat work and studio sessions, to all ages and levels. My approach is to have fun yet challenge each clients stability and awareness. I love the outdoors, walking and cycling and have recently started sailing on Frensham pond.
After 15 years of practicing Pilates, Vicky decided to increase her level of expertise and was invited to train at Pilates in Motion with Anoushka Boone, one of the UK’s pre-eminent teachers. She then went on to train with Lisa Bradshaw and is now an established teacher of Matwork, Reformer & Studio Pilates. Vicky focuses on the connection between body and mind, helping people to understand their bodies and achieve better health, both mentally and physically. Her aim is to show clients of all ages and levels of ability how to feel energised and more centred.
Ronèl comes from a gymnastic, athletic, acrobatic and weight training background. Navigating her own physical path to better health and managing a spinal injury after a serious accident has been the blue print to better knowledge of the body and how to overcome physical challenges and the importance of movement, flexibility and core strength. She is passionate about the synchronicity between body and mind and find that Pilates captures all of those aspects. She has a Pilates Mat Instructors Diploma, is a Reiki Master Healer, and Intuitive Counsellor.
Sharon worked in the City as a Human Resources Director for 25 years. She took up Pilates out of curiosity but quickly became hooked on the benefits, saying ‘when I retire I’m going to teach Pilates’. That’s what she did and she’s been teaching Pilates now since 2015. Sharon has a CYQ Level 3 Mat Pilates certification. She works hard to keep her knowledge up to date by attending regular workshops and classes, aiming to bring variety to her classes whilst meeting the needs of the group.
I have been teaching holistic exercise for 15 years and qualified in Pilates 11 years ago. Clinical Pilates is my background and I am pre and post-natal qualified. I also teach Yoga.
A friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with inspiration and passion stemming from her personal introduction to Pilates in 2002. Originally sought out as a treatment approach for scoliosis, Pilates positively influenced Krista’s quality of life by transforming the way that she moved. Krista’s love of Pilates and body movement continued on into her studies where she completed her Comprehensive Pilates Certification in Vancouver, BC through Balanced Body Education®.
