Karol House

Karol House qualified as a physiotherapist in 1992 and as a Pilates teacher in 2002. She is the founder and owner of Haslemere Pilates. She aims to educate her clients about their bodies and how to use them to make them last. Karol has also studied under the Pilates Foundation and Pilates Training solutions to achieve a Level 3 CYQ. She has completed many extra courses in spinal and sports rehabilitation. After many years working in the N.H.S. and private sector, Karol ran a rehab clinic and Pilates matwork studio at The Queens Club in Barons court.

Becky Russell

Becky is our Administrator, helping Karol with client bookings, managing our Mindbody software, looking after the books and writing newsletters and other promo for the studio. With over 12 years PA experience and a BA (Hons) in Business Administration, Becky is an experienced and highly skilled Administrator and Personal Assistant. Becky joined Karol’s Pilates classes in 2017 when they were in Karol’s house, and hasn’t needed a chiropractor since! She is a regular at the studio and is completely sold on Pilates, telling everyone she meets to join the studio.

Sharon Ayre

Sharon worked in the City as a Human Resources Director for 25 years. She took up Pilates out of curiosity but quickly became hooked on the benefits, saying ‘when I retire I’m going to teach Pilates’. That’s what she did and she’s been teaching Pilates now since 2015. Sharon has a CYQ Level 3 Mat Pilates certification. She works hard to keep her knowledge up to date by attending regular workshops and classes, aiming to bring variety to her classes whilst meeting the needs of the group.

Ronèl Byleveld

Ronèl comes from a gymnastic, athletic, acrobatic and weight training background. Navigating her own physical path to better health and managing a spinal injury after a serious accident has been the blue print to better knowledge of the body and how to overcome physical challenges and the importance of movement, flexibility and core strength. She is passionate about the synchronicity between body and mind and find that Pilates captures all of those aspects. She has a Pilates Mat Instructors Diploma, is a Reiki Master Healer, and Intuitive Counsellor.

Vicky Evans

After 15 years of practicing Pilates, Vicky decided to increase her level of expertise and was invited to train at Pilates in Motion with Anoushka Boone, one of the UK’s pre-eminent teachers. She then went on to train with Lisa Bradshaw and is now an established teacher of Matwork, Reformer & Studio Pilates. Vicky focuses on the connection between body and mind, helping people to understand their bodies and achieve better health, both mentally and physically. Her aim is to show clients of all ages and levels of ability how to feel energised and more centred.

Kate Lywood

Kate qualified in matwork Pilates through Future Fit school of Pilates in 2019. She strongly believes that Pilates can be for everyone and this belief has been made stronger on her own journey with a physical job managing an Organic dairy, whilst juggling an autoimmune disease and a young daughter! She has studied Pilates for orthopaedic conditions and also pre and post-natal, and finds the benefits of movement to be endless and for everyone. When she began attending Reformer classes she was desperate to learn more and so joined the Lisa-B teacher training.

Georgie Morrow

Georgie discovered Pilates over 15 years ago and was hooked from the first class! She started teacher training in 2015 with a full year’s course in the classical style, true to Joseph Pilates’ original repertoire. In 2017 Georgie moved to Singapore and alongside teaching took on another comprehensive course with world renowned Polestar Pilates. This contemporary teaching style has more of a focus on rehabilitation. While undertaking this course, she worked in a studio alongside physiotherapists working with many clients with injuries.

Susan Farnell-Watson

Susan qualified in the Body Control Pilates method in 2005 and her career has since progressed from Mat Work training to studio equipment, including Reformer Work. Susan is a practicing Pilates instructor with over 15 years experience within studio and private settings. Her passion for connecting people of all ages and ability with the body and mind benefits that can be found from this method of exercise. In 2023, Susan returned to the UK after 2 years in Dublin, where she enjoyed the experience of Irish life, and is very excited to reconnect with past clients and meet new ones.
